- A west Persian Village Rug hand knotted in the Hamadan region in western Iran in the village of Josheghan. c1900.
- This magnificent rug was woven over 100 years ago.
- The rug is in perfect condition. The pile has woven evenly. There are no repairs. Represents an excellent investment.
- The colours have mellowed beautifully with age.
- An intricate diamond shaped medallion floats on a mellow coral field. The medallion design is mirrored in the quadrangles. The attractive border is sky blue and navy.
- Dimension 205x130 cm.
