Description
- A rare and beautiful masterpiece.
- High-quality 50 Raj circular Tabriz is heavily inlayed with silk and features a densely woven pile of fine Kork wool.
- This lovely vintage rug was woven in the 1970's and in perfect condition.
- The field colour is a soft terracotta with highlights of sky blue and emerald. In the centre of the rug is a detailed medallion.
- The composition is fine lambswool (Kork wool) heavily inlayed with silk. The rug has a pure silk foundation evidenced by the silk fringes.The edge of the rug is scolloped.
- Handwoven in a traditional weaving house in Tabriz, Iran.
