Heralding from the Mountainous regions of the north of Afghanistan, tribal Mohommadi rugs are hand knotted and hand dyed by highly skilled local weavers. Each knot of a Mohommadi is woven at the slightest of angles giving the final piece a unique glow when examined from differing perspectives.
Mohommadi rugs are known for their durability and excellent finish - The specific process of construction, dying techniques and designs of this range are all attributed to the famous Afghan rug weaver, Khal Mohommadi.
