A lovely vintage c1950 handwoven by skilled workshop weavers in Sarouk, Markazi Province Iran in the 50s.
A detailed central medallion on an allover navy Herati field. There are attractive sky blue and coral heighlights.
A stunning colour combination.
Densely woven on a lustrous pure wool pile - cotton foundation.
In excellent condition with no pile wear or repairs.
Ideal for heavy use. Would look lovely in a contemporary setting. An unusual saught after size.
