On offer is a rare colour matured vintage tribal Bokhara Rug handwoven in Afghanistan.
Approx. 50 years old. It is in perfect condition.
A repeated detailed octagonal Gul design, sometimes referred to as Tekke. Each octagonal Gul motif is the signature design of the weaving group that produced the rug.
A fine weave, all wool pile woven on a strong wool foundation. The edges of the rug are finished with a chequered embroidered kelim.
The rug colour has matured to a beautiful copper colour.There are contrasting colours of black and soft coral tones.
Dimension 300 x 203 cm.
