An extremely fine weave.Pure lambswoool pile composition woven on a strong foundation.
Classic Shah Abbash Central Medallion Design with lovely floral arrangements in the field.
Excellent condition with no uneven pile wear,repairs or fading. Minor restoration work of the fringes. A true investment rug, sure to appreciate.
The colours are amazing. Muted ruby red field with jewel highlights of sapphire. The colours have oxidised over time resulting in an attractive softness of tone, this is specific to genuinely old handwoven rugs.
